Hello there! I'm Jillz. I'm 26 years old and currently reside in Texas with my high school sweetheart turned husband, Joseph, and our two sons Travis, who was born on October 7, 2010 and Nathan, who was born on May 15, 2012 I'm a full time mother to my two children, a full time military wife to my husband who is in the Air Force, and an RN, but I'm a SAHM for now.

I blog about a variety of things from the challenges and joys of parenthood, the bittersweet moments of being a military wife, the rewarding and stressful moments at work, and just life in general.

It was a rough morning with these two. Nathan woke up around 4:30 and didn’t go back to sleep till 6 and then Travis woke up at 7. Thankfully he fell back asleep after having a cup of warm milk. I stayed awake to pump milk and woke up again at 8 since Nathan was hungry.  Nathan was a bit fussy on and off throughout the morning. He napped after his 8AM feeding and woke up at 9:30 and didn’t nap again till 2PM! While normally this wouldn’t bother me, he only wanted to be held, which is a bit of a problem since I do activities with Travis in the morning before his nap. It also didn’t help that Travis took off his diaper and ran around the house as Nathan was about to fall asleep in my arms. I had to put Nathan down (which woke him up) so I can chase after Travis and put a diaper on him. Nevertheless, it’s always a happy day with these two regardless of how overwhelming and rough it can be at times. There are days where I just want to go in the corner and cry because I feel so overwhelmed. Some days I’m so tired I don’t even want to get up from bed. Some moments where I sometime question myself as a mom. Joseph is wonderful and helps out a lot, but I try not to bother him for the middle of the night feedings because he’s at work in the morning.  Hopefully these two will be much better after they nap. I’m feeling a lot better already just being able to type this out and just having some quiet time.
