Today we went out to grab some lunch at Buca di Beppo, which just so happens to be one of my favorite chain Italian restaurants. I’ve been craving some eggplant parmiagana and I almost ate the whole portion just for lunch! Mister Travis had some macaroni and cheese. He enjoyed lunch just as much as I did. In the last photo, Travis was interested in listening to the server as she told us about dessert. Unfortunately, we were all too full to indulge in some sweetness!

Before I write out this post, I just want to say that I was just kidding about me and Travis being Manila bound! Hehehehe! We just dropped off my cousin, her husband, her son, and my aunt at the airport because their vacation here in the US was over. It was a nice joke though because I got numerous texts telling me to have a safe and fun vacation.

Today was a day filled with driving! After spending the night in San Francisco, we got up early (around 0700, which may or may not be early for some of you) and got ready to drive down to SoCal. Thankfully it was Sunday so it was not traffic at all. I wasn’t too sure of the directions from my cousin’s house in South SF so I just back tracked and drove through Bay Bridge and went onto the 580 East then to the 5 South. We made it to my parents’ house within 8 hours! Gas was so expensive in Central Cali! It was $4.06 when I left my house and in Central it was going between $4.20-$4.50! YIKES!

Now Travis and I are in my old room ready for bed. He’s already knocked out and I will probably sleep here in a bit because I only slept for a few hours last night. I couldn’t sleep at all since I felt so crampy last night! For a moment I was getting worried because it didn’t stop, but thankfully it did and it did not get any worse!

We’re driving back Thursday since I have an OB appointment on Friday. I hope I get to eat some Korean bbq while I’m down here!

After Legoland Travis was playing in uncle’s car (not moving obviously).

Some more photos from Legoland.

Travis loved riding on the choo choo train, as you can tell from the last photo he was not very pleased when the ride was done.

Today Travis and I took a trip to Legoland along with my mom, sister, aunt, uncle, and cousins!

Today we went over to the Galleria to do some shopping! We had a late lunch at Buca di Beppo where we indulged in some cheesy florentine bread, eggplant parmiagana (for me), and a chicken parmiagana (for Joseph). Travis shared with us and loved the eggplant parmiagana!

After lunch, we went over to Babies R Us to look at some double strollers. I’m deciding between the Graco Duo Glider or the Baby Trend. We’ll probably head back there sometime this week so we can see how our infant carseat fits on top of the two strollers. Once we were done at Babies R Us, we walked to Barnes & Noble since Joseph wanted to look at some books to take to his deployment location. While Joseph browsed around, Travis and I went to the children’s section where Travis played with the train set that they had set up (he will love the train table that we bought for him - well when we give it to him anyway).

Joseph didn’t see anything he liked so we left (however, I just bought him the Kindle to take with him so he will be downloading books from there). We went ahead and entered the actual mall so I can go to The Body Shop. It was great timing too since they were having a buy 2 get 2 free sale! I bought 2 Tea Tree oil face wash, a Tea Tree oil moisturizer, and shea body butter.

We walked a bit around the mall and dropped by the little play area for kids. Too bad it was full because I wanted to let Travis play for a bit. It was okay though since he was a bit sleepy so he wanted to just mellow out in his stroller (he got tired from running around at Babies R Us, Barnes & Noble, & at the mall). We got some coffee and a chocolate chip cookie at the Nordstrom cafe and walked over to Popcornopolis to get some sour cream and onion popcorn and caramel pecan popcorn.

Now we’re home just enjoying each other’s company. I think our plans for tomorrow will is just to stay in town. I need to drop off the toys that I’m donating for Toys for Tots at Toys R Us and hopefully I can get some scrubs from the uniform shop!

Earlier we took Travis to the pumpkin patch! He was indifferent to it. It didn’t help that he wasn’t in the best of moods. I was kind of bummed out because I was hoping that taking him out would make him feel a little bit better! I was able to get one photo of him with a pumpkin (he wouldn’t cooperate for anymore photos).

After looking at some pumpkins, we walked around for a bit more checking out the little shops and food stands there were in the pumpkin patch. We bought a whole apple pie to take home and some garlic fries. We went home after munching on the fries since Travis started to fuss. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Lunch at Benihana’s with my cousins! My cousin, Sharon, took us out to dinner the night before so before we left San Francisco today, we took Sharon, her husband, and kids along with my other cousin (Sharon’s sister), Myra to have lunch at Benihana’s in Japan Town!

The other girl in the photo is Myra, I didn’t post photos of Sharon since all of them have her kids on it and personally I don’t like to post other people’s kids (even family and/or friends) on my blog, only because I wouldn’t want someone posting photos of Travis on their blog unless I approve.

Lunch at Benihana’s was delicious! We all ordered lunch boats and sushi. Travis ate some orange slices when he woke up from his nap and boy was he loving them! He would fuss whenever we took “a long time” giving him one. Silly baby!

Here’s a few photos from our day at the San Francisco Zoo.

Travis enjoyed the zoo. He was delighted when we saw the seals because he thought we were going to go swimming! Silly baby! He enjoyed the children’s zoo since he was able to get up close to the barn animals such as goats, sheep, and some ducks. He even petted and pulled a goat’s ear!

The rest of the photos are on my FB so if you’re on my FB you’ll see the rest there.
